After a long time of consideration and and planning, me and my group partner Yanzu wanted to do hip hop music at first. We scraped th idea of hip hop due to lack of equipment and props. We thought we would not have enough props for the video and therefore would not be able to present our ideas clearly. We went back to the drawing board decided to do country music for our music video. We decided to use the country music genre provided with what we had country music genre seemed the best option for us. we looked at many country music artists such as Brad Paisley, Killie Pickler and Lady Antebellum. Although all these artists were great but did not suit the audinece that we were targeting. Therefore we ended up deciding to choose Taylor Swift. We chose Taylor Swift because she was young and the audience that we are aiming at is a young audience.

We have to choose a single from any artists and make a music video for it. We are looking at counrty/pop music and we have been looking at taylor swift in particular. We decided to choose Taylor Swift because very popular in the pop/country scene and we wanted to do a fresh and vibrant, Taylor Swift seemed like the right person. We could have done Miley Cyrus but we thought Taylor Swift is better because shes more down to earth
